Having dreams is the first step towards success. But only having dreams will not work, they will also have to be believers, believers in their dreams. Some people have dreams, but they never believes in their capabilities to achieve it, and as a result, they never works on them.

2. 3D (Dedicated, Disciplined, Determined)
Determination: Successful people are determined people. Their minds are like crystal clean water. They know what their goals are and how to achieve them. They do not fill their minds with useless things.
Dedication: Dedication is a quality without which it becomes nearly impossible for a person to become successful. Successful people remains dedicated to their goals, for them their goals come first above anything else.
Discipline: without this normal day to day functions would not be possible and success remains a distant thing.
3. They are readers
Reading makes a man knowledgeable; reading makes a man confident, reading makes a man intelligent and there are thousands of benefits that are there for reading. When someone writes a good book, it takes a lot of months or years or in some cases an experience of a lifetime to write a book. And when we read that book we can get that experience of that writer in a nutshell.

4. They are Patient
Some find success at a very young age, whereas some find it a later stage of life. People who are successful are patient. They know that they may not get the desired outcome immediately but success will follow. They believe in their ideas in their instincts and go on working day and night for it. Edison invented electric bulb after 1000 attempts, Jack Ma, founder of Chinese giant, Alibaba was rejected from 30 different jobs before he created Alibaba.
